I gave him a floppy to put it on and he brought me back a CD with a file too big to e-mail) Maybe somebody with a digital camera can take one for me at the Tennessee Cookoff in 3 weeks.”

“Rabbittman: BMP files are typically huge. Have him resize to something more realistic (if the scanner resolution was 600dpi the file will be incredibly too large).. and convert the bmp to a gif or jpg.”

“Rabbitman your buddy is giving you a high resolution file. You will need a low resolution file for the web.

He probably scanned it in at 300 dpi all you need is 72dpi.”
