Hey, if any of you are traveling across the middle of the US, let me know and I'll buy you a round. I have a feeling that most folks on this site are, (to use Mike's terminology), pretty cool 8).
I have a fantasy of traveling across the country and meeting all of the TT'ers. I'm sure it would be great.

Dunadan, if you ever find yourself in the northeast, come by my way! I live in the extreme northeast corner of New Jersey, but I'm only two hours away from the Catskills.. superb hiking!

I'm dying to meet other TT'ers. I know some of you live near me. I'm going to try and arrange a hike sometime this summer so I can meet some of y'all.

The closest I will get this summer will be Boston. I am visiting my daughter who goes to BU. Thankyou for the invitation. I'm sure we would have some fun. How is the brew coming, these days?

Brew has been a bit delayed. I'm now moved into my new place, but I'm still settling in. Had to move my aquarium and fish over which was a big project in itself. Artex Lager will come into reality sometime this summer though!

Have a "wicked" good time in Boston. If you get thirsty, drink some wat-ah out of a bubbluh'. And don't paaahk ya caaah on da wrong side of da street.

Hey Dunadan. I'd like to extend to you the offer of a beer and/or a hike for you and daughter when you come to Boston. Depending on the circumstances, I might try to inflict my teenage sons on you too.

statdewd - I have African Cichlids.. right now just a blue kenyi, two electric yellow haps, and a catfish. Tanks is 45 gallons, so I have room for plenty more. Cichlids are neat fish, I really like them a lot.

Prowler - sounds sweet, I'll e-mail you some Catskills trail info, a hike would be great. I also live very close to Manhattan, so if you want to grab a beer, lemme know!

Artie, be careful about adding too many fish to your tank. African cichlids are extremely territorial, especially the pseudotropheus varities. They will quickly kill each other if overcrowded. They are also very intelligaent and interesting. You will find that if they don't like the way the gravel in your tank is arranged that they will change it.

Goose - yeah, they've been doing that with the gravel, it's pretty amusing. You're right, they are pretty intelligent (as far as fish go). I've had the ones I have now for about a year, and have really enjoyed them. Still, the tank's big enough for a couple of more, I bet. I'll leave it to Darwin to sort out if there really is enough room though. May the best Cichlid(s) win!

Don't you guys ever get tired of yourselves.

What torture it must be to live inside your heads and not be able to escape. There aren't enough drugs to help you all.

Where have all the REAL men gone?

Man, I just had to do this post (I'M OUTTA CONTROL!).

This past weekend had the best weather in the history of bp'ing. And the moon? Whoa! Don't EVEN get me started on that!

Cool nights and moderately warm days -
GOD BLESS ALA-DAM-BAMA!
Nice breeeze, too.

I did a 9 day canoe trip in 1986 that was planned to overlap a full moon. Although we got downpoured a couple times, I've always considered that trip to be the bestest ever - weatherwise. But !NO MAS!

Can I get a witness?

Some National Forests have the maps on their web sites, most don't. If you can download one you will have to burn it to a CD and take it to a print shop for full size printing. Not too many people have a home printer bigger than 8.5 x 11.

I was looking to get you off the street by inquiring as to their janitorial openings.

I go thru a set of Duracell batteries/day while snowboarding (6-8 hrs), even on battery save mode. I tried rechargables (Brunton Portable Solar Charger), and they last 3 hrs. Maybe I need a different type of charger?

Why not ask Phil. He seems to know alot about photography and internet posting. Plus I hear he has a huge porno collection.

ROTFLMAO!!!!

this kid is the shiznit!

Gee Sunshine, I thought you like the message I sent you!

Ice is right, underage gals are for perverts, and I'll add in, for pediphiles too.

We're getting from 3-5" today. I gotta get the huge cooking pot out and go gather snow for some yummy snow ice cream! Yeah! Nigal snow angles in the back yard!

careful with that ax, eugene

Since I've been gone, I've bought a motorcycle (Yamaha Virago 535) and have spent too much time biking with not enough hiking. I'm going to catch up now.

For the love of Mike, somebody disable the TT search function! Either that or find a way to stop militiaboy from using it all the time.
