Perhaps it's just a matter of degree. Just this once, try not to have a conniption and bring up 8 or 10 more of your temper tantrum threads. It's embarrassing to the other users. I must say, this other thing is really a new low. What sort of person becomes jealous of a possible suicide and tries to direct the attention back to themselves? ” 7:44:25 PM 1/24/08 “I'll get GNM a noogie. ;-) She's lots cuter than Crash.” 7:46:01 PM 1/24/08 “Uh, Tilt, This thread is from like 9 hours before that thread. plus, crash brought the suicide discussion over here, duh - you on crack? last edited: 1/24/08 7:51:25 PM” 7:47:54 PM 1/24/08 “Stove, it it always a sex thing with you?” 7:49:59 PM 1/24/08 “Yep. ;-)” 8:00:40 PM 1/24/08 “For my part, Sarge is on ignore so I have no idea what he said, but Tilt is indeed a classless dude. He often makes hateful remarks about people yet he is never called out by the liberals on this board who make it their life's obsession to call out hate speech committed by conservatives. Its not even the hate speech that I despise in tilt, its his hypocrisy. He'd probably be a pretty cool dude if he could curb his hate filled political opinions.” 5:14:15 AM 1/25/08 “For my part, Sarge is on ignore so I have no idea what he said, but Tilt is indeed a classless dude. Yeah, that was classy! LOL He often makes hateful remarks about people Hyways treats hateful people poorly.” 5:24:44 AM 1/25/08 “He'd probably be a pretty cool dude if he could curb his hate filled political opinions. - hyway I doubt it. From what I've seen, it's the person full of hate, and the opinions are incidental to that. Anyone condemning children to death has a pathological problem. I hold Violin and the other libbies in much higher regard than that piece of trash.” 5:34:02 AM 1/25/08 “Aww come on people ... collaborating an assassination plot online like he did a few weeks ago doesn't sound like something somebody full of hate would do!” 5:36:54 AM 1/25/08 “I must have missed that one.” 5:37:45 AM 1/25/08 “It was on the silent kapow thread, but those posts have been since deleted.” 5:39:27 AM 1/25/08 “(sigh) It takes a lot of backbone to be a little gang of Internet bullies, doesn't it.” 6:22:42 AM 1/25/08 “You tell us Mr. hitman. Ka-pow!” 6:24:20 AM 1/25/08 “Tilt, the conservatives here often bash the "libbies" of the board (and we get it in return), but it's nothing too serious. Have you never wondered why you're singled out? People full of hate attract conflict. People who wish death on innocents provoke real ire from decent folks. You're singled out because you're not a decent person, Tilt. You reap what you sow. And you've shown yourself to be a real piece of sh*t, over and over.” 6:34:52 AM 1/25/08 ““(sigh) It takes a lot of backbone to be a little gang of Internet bullies, doesn't it.” Tilt 7:22:42 AM 1/25/08 Tilty discussing "backbone"....now "boned in the back" that I would believe from Tilty.” 6:36:35 AM 1/25/08 “So many Christians and so much hate. How sad. When talking about hate, why don't you discuss XL's little rant yesterday about the 5 thugs beating up the other thug? Not hate? Tilt's a good guy and certainly capable of saying things in anger perhaps better left unsaid. As we all are...” 6:43:46 AM 1/25/08 “so much hate? Riiiiight! You say so...” 6:46:42 AM 1/25/08 “NOpe Numble (all those sperm and that one had to swim the fastest....damn) its not hate it was JUSTICE. Living in a fantasy vaccum is neat. Here is a neat question to bring up over milk toast tonight.....IF a guy grabs a woman, rapes her and murders her. Should that be considered a HATE crime? Why should emotion (and that is what HATE is ) even be part of any "logical system". See the criminal justice system is supposed to be logically based on "precedent" so how can you say a white guy who beats the crap out of a black guy has anymore HATE than a black guy who condones the burning of say a Jewish owned clothing store? Hate is emotion, it is subjective. You cannot say you "Hate" more than me? Or is that stretching the St. Johns Wart too much this morning?” 6:49:26 AM 1/25/08 “nimble, I am not a christian so that one doesn't stick to me. This thread is entilted "Favorite Tilt quotes" so its about Tilt and not about XL. You guys already have enough posts and threads discussing Xl. Its not like he doesn't get his fair share of comments.” 6:55:04 AM 1/25/08 “Justice (other than the spiritual kind) doesn't take place outside a court of law. The people who did it were criminals and should have been prosecuted. I feel sad for the boy scouts that you'll be camping with this weekend if you are their role model.” 6:56:16 AM 1/25/08 “Justice (other than the spiritual kind) doesn't take place outside a court of law. It doesn't, or shouldn't? Hmmm.” 6:58:14 AM 1/25/08 “So many Christians and so much hate. - nimblefoot I'm certainly not a christian, and tilt is bringing it on himself. Like I said, hate breeds hate. You'll notice it's really only Tilt that gets singled out and called out being such a piece of trash. And it's not just a few things he's said out of anger. This is a pattern of hate from him going years into the past. He's a "good guy" only if he perceives you think like him. last edited: 1/25/08 6:59:54 AM” 6:59:21 AM 1/25/08 “Hyway, I know you're not a Christian and neither am I in the traditional sense. I'm getting a little like Mutt and like to throw it in there when given the opportunity. Mostly this is because I hear all the talk about Christian values, love, compassion, tolerance, etc and see nothing of it in their posts. I think Ghandi said something like "I really like your Christ, but why aren't there more Christians like him?" I really don't think Tilt is any worse than any others on this board. I'm choosing to stick up for him a little.” 7:01:51 AM 1/25/08 “I hear what you're saying, Sarge. I'm talking about justice within our framework of laws. Alledgedly we are a nation of law. Either we are or we are not, sort of like being a little bit pregnant.” 7:05:16 AM 1/25/08 “I hear all the talk about Christian values, love, compassion, tolerance, etc and see nothing of it in their posts. You don't? What do you see?” 7:05:17 AM 1/25/08 “so public opinion has no sway in creating justice? A talk show hosts makes an ethnic slur, the people vocally expresses their opinion and he loses his show. Is that not justice? A business man kills someone while drunk driving, his slick lawyer gets him off, but he becomes shunned by the community, his business fails, his wife leaves him and he becomes destitute. Is that not justice?” 7:06:18 AM 1/25/08 “Anger, hate, keeping score, getting even.” 7:06:20 AM 1/25/08 “Nimblefoot, there is the theory and the desired reality, then there is reality. I think some of us just prefer to not discard the actual reality when discussing life. Others prefer to set it aside and talk 100% theory, much like in a classroom, others see that as a real problem.” 7:06:56 AM 1/25/08 “Anger, hate, keeping score, getting even Where? I know I personally hate noone on here. All I have tried to consistently do is point out people's hypocrisy when IT was based in hate. Put it this way... IF you were to not believe me when I state my intent, that I am pointing out the hate for the purpose of drawing attention to it so it stops, I 100% agree that my posts would appear hateful. But, I promise you, that is not the case. People draw a lot of incorrect assumptions about my "intent" on here with a lot of things, because they already have in their minds what they want to believe about me. I can guarantee you if they sat with me, in person, for like 10-15 minutes, their entire view of me (and their view of my intent) would change. That's a bet. So ... you can think I'm lying about most things, and draw incorrect conclusions, or you can believe me. What you choose in that only reflects on you, not me. That's how I look at it. last edited: 1/25/08 7:12:58 AM” 7:08:14 AM 1/25/08 “Hyway, I think your examples are quite different than a mob of policemen. I like your businessman example. Justice in our system isn't perfect. We all know that, but we have decided to live under it. Losing his business, wife, etc., is a nice example of karma (or spiritual justice), although I don't see losing his wife as necessarily that much of a penalty:)” 7:10:20 AM 1/25/08 “Sarge, as you said to Nowslimmer, "we're just going to have to agree to disagree" (although we really don't have to).” 7:12:58 AM 1/25/08 “nimble, I was just commenting on the statement that there is no justice outside what the law provides. About his wife, I was thinking more along the lines of losing his family (which is very important to me).” 7:13:17 AM 1/25/08 “Sure we can disagree ... but this isn't subjective. I don't "hate". That's reality. If you choose not believe otherwise, again, only reflects on you.” 7:14:53 AM 1/25/08 “Hyway, I feel the same way about my family. The wife part was a joke:) Sarge, ring it up. You're right again. Sorry, guys, I gotta clean up and go collect some money:) Uncliff, it's your turn now. Make 'em pay.” 7:24:13 AM 1/25/08 “paint it as trying to be right, but your mischaracterization of me warranted explaining - and I'm sure you thought you were right too” 7:29:48 AM 1/25/08 “Thanks. That's how it usually ends up with you and I. I some times wonder why I post since the end is predictable, but sometimes you just gotta. I ask myself quite often "how important is it to be right"? I know I'm in over my head when I start to think something like "This time....I really am right". Headed for another of those spiritual awakenings.” 7:42:38 AM 1/25/08 “Well when you can read minds, we'll talk about taking seriously the notion that you might have been right. I think there would be less conflict between us if you ASK the person what they mean, or where they're coming from, instead of jumping to conclusions. That's a whole different thing though than from somebody plotting to kill somebody.” 8:15:52 AM 1/25/08 “You know Nimble I just figured it out...you want the Mary Poppins type of justice...the stuff where the mommy comes in and cleans up the mess. Well its not like that. I heard a guy the other day arguing about a "leech" who had just "won" a house in a charity lottery. Someone asked.."How did she get to the homeless, yadda yadda stage?" The feel gooder said,"OOOH lets just celebrate that she got that new house." BULL#&%!$...he said it because apparently it was NOT HIS MONEY. And that is the differnece. With Real Conservatives I look at a problem and I am willing to pick and choose my "charities" if someone has truly amended their ways I give em a shot (nimble that has included paying their COLLEGE tuition). If the individual continues to fail...sorry, he may die in a gutter but I tried. For Libbies they see the bum who will NEVER change and say,"Here give me your wallet so we can help him." The reason they can be charitable is that they are only tied to the HELP with emotion.... ITs the same in many juries I see today. Instead of looking at the Victim the defense tries to get them to "feel" for the suspect. They end up with a "what if it was me" and "well lets give him one more chance". THe reson is the odds are pretty good that scum will never come after THEM personally. They have no real connection with the criminal.” 8:27:39 AM 1/25/08 “Sarge, you really don't seriously think Tilt is plotting to kill someone. All of you just saw an opportunity to go after him TT style. XL, you are just simply beyond rational discussion.” 8:33:01 AM 1/25/08 “nimble, tilt gives plenty of opportunities to comment on his hate speech. Whether or not he was actually plotting to kill someone is just one of many instances where he has spoken that way. Cherry pick your defense of him if you like, but you better bring a big bucket to carry your harvest.” 8:36:43 AM 1/25/08 “Nimble I realize that your emotional approach will never ...and I understand NEVER...be reconciled with anything logical. Its sad but it almost perfectly matches the little 3 year old who says "Everything I touch is mine, even your stuff" but when you say the reverse is true they say"Its still mine".... You would truly make a really good socialist..as long as your ox is not the one being killed to feed the village....(LOL)” 8:40:19 AM 1/25/08 “Sarge, you really don't seriously think Tilt is plotting to kill someone. So it was funny? You don't think if I did that there wouldn't be outrage? lol We got one "person" on here who thinks I came to his house just because he figures it must've been me disrupting his life! lol Get real man. Blatant treats, real or meant to scare, aren't appropriate. And you shouldn't be defending it just b/c you think he's a "nice" guy. Reminds me of the neighbors after a murder spree... "he was such a nice boy, always said 'hi'". I have never threatened anyone on here, nor thought of doing it, but have been accused of it because people thought they should fill in the gaps. Much different than what was done here, that you're defending. last edited: 1/25/08 8:46:38 AM” 8:42:44 AM 1/25/08 “Sarge, I never said it was funny. Poor taste, but nothing amounting to intent to murder. Come on. XL - you just baffle me. You really know nothing of my politics other than my continued opposition to the war. There is nothing about how I think, post or live that gives credence to what you just said about me. I suspect you may be caught in that trap of black and white thinking, a rough and painful place to be.” 8:59:38 AM 1/25/08 “ironic comments to XL there ...” 9:01:14 AM 1/25/08 “Agreed, Sarge, that glove fits all of us. I've said it before, if we could quit throwing rocks long enough, we'd find more in common than different. Fear is always the divider.” 9:02:47 AM 1/25/08
