I wrote that before your last post, but feel free to still answer if you desire.

You've already agree that the MUCH more massive ice shelf in Antarctica has actually grown, so if you want to just answer the first question, that would be sufficient.

Please repost for me. I have looked for it previously and have not found it.

I am not asking for anomalies of temperature. I am asking for actual global temperature (F or C is fine) of the earth over the last 10 years. The numbers do exist, but I would like to see from YOUR source since it's obviously different than mine.

The burden of proof lies with me???

You said: "World average temperatures have risen over the past decade."

but the burden of proof lies with me?

Interesting. LOL

I would think this data would be readily available with all the government sponsored studies on global warming. No?

A classic post, undoubtedly to be reposted by others time and again, that demonstrates EXACTLY the liberal progressive line when backed into a corner on any issue. Beautiful.

Against govt healthcare? You want people to die.

Critical of a minority? You are a racist.

Don't believe in man made global warming/climate change? You are pro-pollution, pro-poison in drinking water, anti environment.

The truth is that not ONE prediction has held. Snow and record low temps this year, the Hurricane Season was ZIP ZERO NADA.

KEEEERIST the weather clown can't guess the weather three days in a row.

We have listed point after point about the lies, etc. When the patron idiot of Goerbal Smarming talks and is asked a tough question they turn off the guy's mic.

http://www.thelocal.de/society/20091020-22693.html

Meteorologists on Tuesday morning recorded the lowest ever October temperature in Germany, as the mercury dipped to a chilly -24.3 degrees Celsius in Bavaria’s Berchtesgaden national park.

•Nuremberg's star polar bear Flocke headed to the French Riviera - Society (21 Oct 09)
•Taxiing for takeoff at Berlin's Tempelhof - Analysis & Opinion (21 Oct 09)
•Bush senior to meet Kohl and Gorby in Berlin - National (21 Oct 09)
The bitter cold was measured at the Funtensee, a notoriously frosty lake high in the Bavarian Alps. Jörg Kachelmann from the Meteomedia weather service said conditions overnight were ideal “with brisk cold air flowing in over freshly fallen powder snow.”

Kachelmann said the alpine sinkhole could register temperatures as low as -55 degrees in the middle of winter by similar conditions, making it in his estimation the coldest spot in Germany. But he said the Funtensee was likely to be a balmy 35 degrees warmer by Wednesday, as the Alpine Föhn wind is expected to push temperatures up to 10 Celsius.

Do you realize that weather isn't the same as climate?
RoamAround

So roseymonster, even though you posted the anomalies INSTEAD of the temperatures, you can clearly see the temperatures DECLINED over the last 10 years, which clearly is in conflict with this statement:

World average temperatures have risen over the past decade.

Do you concede that your two previous scientific claims to support global warming are in fact, false?
HighPlainsDrifter

WOw rosie takes a what 150 year period of time and expands it into the future. Roam you do realize that Ice ages (length etc) is measured in Millinea? Not ten years or so.

The Little Ice Age. 1150-1850 ....wait that would be the BEGINNING of that chart....meaning just like at the END of Winter the weather starts getting WARMER.

roseymonster, please answer the question.

I am sure you would agree that a point in time, such as you provided, is not evidence of a trend. I can show you a previous month this yeay with LOWEST recorded temps. Let's not play that game. What is your response to my question?
HighPlainsDrifter

Yes. I was wrong about the past decade. I should have said the past century.
roseymonster
1:35:41 PM
10/21/09

"I was wrong about the last decade."

that is significant because

1. co2 are being spewed into the atmosphere now more than ever, and

2. sunspot activity just went from high to low, matching temperature variations

4. gw alarmists, including yourself here, continue to say temperatures are rising
HighPlainsDrifter

10/21/09

If you look at the graph, you will see periods of decreasing averages, however, the overall spectrum for teh past 130 years is an overall increase.

I would posit we are merely in one of the dipping periods and that the trend for an increase in average will continue.
roseymonster
1:44:11 PM

However, there is no doubt, CO2 levels have risen dramatically in the past 50 years and this coincide tremendously with increased industrialization and mechanization of our world.”

thus the difference between climate and weather. Climate (much like an ice age, XL), is over a very very long period of time, not days, weeks, years or even centuries. Weather is very short, like today, last year or even a few years.
RoamAround
1:49:46 PM

"How is this not true?"

It's true there has been an upward trend, but it correlates directly to the sunspot activity, not, as you've just proven, to increases in manufacturing.

1:53:05 PM
10/21/09

Please provide credible proof for your claim.
roseymonster

I (well you) have shown the manufacturing correlation I'd false, and I will demonstrate the sunspot correlation later tonight.
HighPlainsDrifter

No, I didn't. You said that. I retain my view that an increase in atmospheric CO2 is the result, primarily, of tailpipe emissions and industrialization.
roseymonster
2:07:19 PM
10/21/09

then what has happened to the failed predictions of that theory over the last 10 years, when those emmissions and manufacturing has been greatest in all of world history?
HighPlainsDrifter
2:26:52 PM
10/21/09

You interjected that information. I assume it would be true, however, there are likely other elements at play, which would account for the periodic dips in global temperatures while still increasing over the long-haul. Maybe it is the sunspots you allude to. Maybe it's El Nino. Maybe, maybe, maybe.

All I am saying is that I believe there is a direct correlation between increased CO2 production and increased global temperatures over the past 130 years as exemplified in the above graph.

Well Rosey, all I am saying is the predictions made by the science that YOU support have not shown to be correct. The predictions that I've made over the years have. My real reason for this debate was to dispute the 2 claims you made earlier, which have been shown as you've agreed to be incorrect. I think you may have even LOLd at me, but bygones...

It was important to refute them, as it was previously to refute the hurricane predictions, because all these things add up to bad science, bad policy, and bad decisions.
