RE: Favorite Bug
White headded bumble bee, it has no stinger, no biting mouth parts and makes the best kite a kid can fly, with a little bit of time and a length of thread!

RE: Favorite Bug
I do not like no bugs. I bite bugs. Fly bugs and bee bugs get my nervs. Spider bugs are ugly and got to get bit to. Hopper bugs are good tho I gess cuz I like to get them. They hop good and are fun to hunt and run after.

Belly bugs and butt werms will make you ded if yer dokter does not give you no mennisin.

Granddaddy long legs, just love the name. I don't know if I just showed regional ignorance I guess the name is common.

BUG
There've been times that I wander
And times that I don't
Concepts I'll ponder
And concepts I won't ever see
God is not one of these
Former or latter
Which did you think I meant
It doesn't matter to me

Bug
It doesn't matter
(Don't need it)

(Overrated)
Overrated

Gold in my hand
In a country pool
Standing and waving
The rain, wind on the runway
Spending or saving
Credit or debt
Which did you think I meant
Nothing I see can be taken from me

TICKS, man dont even say ticks!

My wife, kids(2), dogs and I went on a trip in BSF. By the time we where done we had thousands I mean thousands of seed ticks all over us. I have never been so discusted in my life. We had to use duck tape to pick them out of every crack and crevious! I never want to see a tick again. I dont even like the word.

Not only did we use duck tape but we had to take three showers each w/ flea & tick shampoo for dogs just to keep them from spredding! Any further through our stuff.

Lesson learned-Deet does not always work!!

I'm with Nigal - Praying Mantis. Roley Poley is also up there.

I also just realized I've never tried to spell 'roley poley' before.

Although I'm a tick magnet, I agree that the praying mantis, walking stick are the greatest. But then I do enjoy, lady bugs, ants, spiders, wolly catepillers, . . .

I had a guy from the Brooklyn Museum bring a few of those guys down to show the Cub Scout pack last year. They were really cool...

Check it out. Yesterday I took Honey for a walk down by the river and found this bug crawling along on top of the snow. It was really cold. Like 25 degrees cold. It hasn\\\\\\\'t really been warm enough for bugs to be coming out. I don\\\\\\\'t know what kind it is. I\\\\\\\'m not sure if it\\\\\\\'s a freak thing or a sign of the Apocalypse.
