Lost? Or just don't know where I am goin g?

“4:12pm. The old highway weaved and wandered past old homes and wide open fields. Two lanes, and then down to one, sure it was soon to go to a dirt road. Finally, a T-interesection, with a choice to my left and to my right, but which way to go?

It had been miles since I had seen a Hwy sign. I supposed folks in southeast Arkansas don't need signs, because they know the names of all their roads. Here I was at the interesection, and no road sign, no mileage post to any town, and not a landmark anywhere to be found.

Am I lost? Or just don't know where I am going?”
