Lump crab, please
"Yes, I'll have a bucket container of the lump crab, two pounds of redfish, and about four pounds of those giant shrimp please." The farmer's seafood market in Shreveport, where everything is fresh, and not too unreasonably priced.

"That will be 48.24, please."

One bad thing about Michigan, no fresh Seafood and you can't eat too much of the Great Lakes fish if you want to have healthy babies.

RE: Lump crab, please
red sauce.. (most recipes are guarded to the equivalent of how we guard our bar-b-que sauce recipes around here).. then add redfish.. lump crab, and shrimp.. cook it down.. give it a good 2-3 hrs to let it all simmer in good for flavor.. pour over rice.. and toss a hint of celery and green onions over it all.

mMM.. courtboullion .. (cO-boo-YON)

RE: Lump crab, please
Back in July, I hit every joint in St. Martinville looking for boiled crab - two nights in a row. NOBODY had any (there had been a gas spill near the coast, and an evacuation had shut-down the crabbers).

Anyhoo, they resumed the same day that I left, but I couldn't wait around for the boats, so I hit the road...
