The correct answer is Cedar Point. No crazy little imps walking around faux castles. Just lots and lots of really great roller coasters.

With out a doubt, Cedar Point rules the thrill-park world! Send the kiddies to Disney.

Get to the Point...Cedar Point.

I have a question - Is Cedar Point an Amusement Park or Theme Park? Is there a difference?

I rode my first roller coaster at Busch Gardens, Virginia. I was six. Fortunatly I was a tall child.

Last time I was at DisneyLand there was no Epcot Center and "It's a small World" gave me nightmares for weeks.

Cedar Point is my favorite. Favorite coaster is the Mean Streak. We should have a Weekend trip to the amusement park this summer.

Reformed Lurker's current amusement park rankings:

1) Cedar Point: No explanation needed.

2) Boblo Island: Sure it no longer exists, but that boat ride on the Detroit River was great!

3) Six Flags Great America (Chicago): Went in September. Weird time to go with the fall winds, but not bad.

4) Six Flags over St. Louis. The great revelation was the McDonald's that sold pizza. McDonald's sells pizza!

5) Hershey Park. Nice small park. A good place to work the chocolate from your fillings.

6) King's Island. I was too young and didn't ride any coasters. But the fake Eiffel Tower was a nice touch. I've always loved the French:)

Dude! You'd think I was a coaster freak or something.

I forgot about Boblo! My elementary school always took the 6th graders to Boblo every year. I remember all the dancing on the boat on the way to and from the island. Didn't they build condos on the island?

But Cedar Point wins, hands down. I like Sass's idea of a summer trip down there.

I have to admit that next to Disney theme parks, Busch Gardens Tampa is my favorite theme park. It has two of the greatest roller coasters in the world, aquatic and wild animal park shows and stuff, and some of the best theme park food I have ever eaten.LOTS of stuff just for kids too. Great place.

Tokyo Disneyland is pretty cool. The Country Bears singing and talking in Japanese was too much...I couldn't hold my camcorder still it was so funny.

If you are a little kid or a LEGO freak, Legoland (Carlsbad, CA in the USA) is kinda cool. Don't go on a busy day, the place wasn't designed for crowds. Definitely go during the off-season.

Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park, CA) has some great rides and good atmosphere. They also have some great food.

EDGEWATER? Did somebody say EDGEWATER???

There's a motel in Seattle, Washington called the Edgewater Inn. The Edgewater Inn's built on a pier.. so that means that when you look out your window you don't see any dirt -- it's got a bay or something out in your backyard,,, And to make it even more interesting, in the lobby of the aforementioned motel there's a bait and tackle shop where the residents can go down whenever they want to, and rent a fishing pole and some preserved minnows and schlep back up to their rooms, open the window, stick their little pole outside and within a few minutes actually catch a fish of some sort that they can bring into their motel room and do whatever they want with it... you know what I mean? Now in this bay there's quite a variety of ah... fish! Not only do they have mud sharks up there, they got little octopusses that you can catch. And all these denizens of the deep can come in real handy... Let's say you were a travelling Rock and Roll band called the Vanilla Fudge. Let's say one night you checked into the Edgewater Inn Motel with a 8mm movie camera, enough money to rent a pole, and just to make it more interesting -- a succulent young lady (Mnaaaah!) with a taste for the bizarre... My mind drifts back to a meeting, a chance meeting in the Chicago O'Hare Airport where the members of the Vanilla Fudge told Don Preston about a home movie they made at the Edgewater Inn with a Mud Shark. I'm gonna tell you, this dance, the Mud Shark, is sweeping the ocean!...
