Oooopoooo! That's bad, Biz. Hope the dog doesn't get sick from holding it. It's hard to get reliable pet sitters sometimes.

You owe the dog a happy meal and allot of playtime, and the roomate a...well, that was not very cool.

once I was driving across the north west with a friend and dog. The dog wouldn't potty unless she was on grass. There aren't many rest stops with grass in Southern Idaho or Western Oregon. She didn't go for at least 30 hours.....

Bear was the same way. Drove from Pueblo CO, 5 corners, thru AZ, then CA. He was f*rting (bad) so we knew he had to go. Everytime we stopped (AZ) he'd sniff and only pee little dribbles. Finally he couldn't hold it and as he was sniffing his back legs spread and he just started going. He really tried.

I'd walk him 3-4 miles every night. It was embarrassing cuz he would poop in the same 2 or 3 yards every time!

My dog can hold it for 3 acres. He can walk ALL the way around the yard--but at the bottom of the stairs to the deck he has to poop.

Belles poop place is in a far corner of the yard, beside the pasture fence. She'll pee anywhere in the yard, tho.

When on the road, she can go MUCH longer between pitstops than I can.

My wife's dog loves grass. She can be on it for hours, holding it, until she gets inside and goes on the carpet. Doesn't want to soil the grass, I guess.

Last time we went hiking and left my brother in charge of staying with the dogs he left two open packages of cookies within their reach. Chocolate cookies! They ate them all and had diarhea all over the house. We have mostly hard wood and linoleum and pergo floors, only one room is carpeted. Which room do you think they chose to do the most damage in?! Worst part was the brother didn't clean it up!!!! He left it for two days, the little punk. Now the dogs go to a good kennel. I'm thankful they didn't go into sugar and chocolate shock!

Torrey held it for 17 entire hours one day. I left her home when I climbed Mt. Massive. I expected to come home to a mess and found a happy dog wagging her tail instead. She's the best!

you guys are lucky...you'd think a decent sized lab aka Sandy would be able to hold his own. But at least in his case the opposite is true...he's a regualr creature...3 times a day..can you imagine? Must be a lot of fiber in the food...
