How could I forget?
I started running again the other day. I kinda stopped when I started biking because after a 20 mile ride I just didn't feel much like running, but since the weather is turning cold I decided I would take up running the old treadmill. Wow, I can't believe I stopped. It felt so good to go and run a quick 5k followed by a nice cool shower. ahhhh

Biz, don't believe him when he says, it's the cool shower that's causing the shrinkage.

RE: How could I forget?
Hee hee, that's because you don't look down.
Reminds me of this joke: Why does the Pope wear underwear when he takes a shower?

Answer: Because he doesn't want to look down at the unemployed.

RE: How could I forget?
Not done and already wanting more of it
how good that feels, how could I forget
over and over her kisses flowed, hot and wet
she had my heart and soul, how could I forget
us holding hands and how good they seemed to fit
I wish I didn`t remember it, how could I forget

RE: How could I forget?
I have the fondest memories of being your age, Aero, and going out for a midnight run...eight miles, FAST! In the cool of the night, perfect solitude and quiet, and just feeling like a MACHINE cruising along the road...

I'd still do it if I could, but I've got a few recurring injuries that seem to make it impossible...

But yes, running is a great experience when you are in good shape.

RE: How could I forget?
My favorite part of the day is a nice run after work. The worse my day, the harder I run. Let the mind wander and the body take over.

I'm lucky enough to have a deserted road with a high crown that lets me run with my eyes closed. Ever try that?

RE: How could I forget?
i recently started running, after having hated it all my life. now, i looooove it--such great stress relief! i go to this state park near me where my friend is the park ranger...very peaceful, i hardly ever see anyone at all. i started by fast-walking, but then it started to get dark once, and i was skeert, so i started running, LOL! and i liked it so much, i ran on purpose after that :-)
