“What the heck is up with Major League Baseball? They want to do away with the Minnesota Twins, who had a pretty decent year last year?

Let's just take ALL teams away from smaller cities then.

I just don't get it. REALLY DON'T GET IT!!! If the MLB has such good business sense, why did they let the league expand by two teams a few years back?!?!?

And if they think they can contract it by two teams now, hadn't someone better sue their conglomerate asses for bad business management????!?

I have a feeling that they are going to regret this move when the players union gets through with them. Unfortunately, it will be baseball itself that will suffer the most. How can a group of grown men take a kids game and so thoroughly ruin it?
If there is another lock-out or strike, I think MLB will lose many many fans. I have several friends who will still not buy a ticket after the last fiasco. There was no excuse to eliminate the Series, which Montreal had a good shot of playing in.
