Leopold's
Michigan Radio (NPR) is doing an hour on Aldo Leopold's Sand County Almanac this Sunday night at 6PM.

That's 91.7 near Ann Arbor, but you can hear it all across the state. Everyone else can catch it online at michiganradio.org

BTW, any other midwesterners might want to check out the other Midwestern writers that the station has done on that web site.

One more thing: I heard that one of the networks was going to do a version of the Nick Adams Stories (Hemingway/UP) starring Matt Damon and Julia Roberts. Is this true and when will it be broadcast? Help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: Leopold's
I have gotten " Sand County Almanac" on tape and have listened to most of it. I also own it in softcover. It stays in my lunchbox or workvan for spare time reading. I love the essay about cutting up the big oak and going back in time as each ring is cut and talking about what happened that year. Leopolds the man bar none!
