“To help with the Shuttle, As many people as possible need to be at the Grundy Forest Trail Head about 7:30 AM (CENTERAL TIME). We'll leave some cars & Trucks at the Foster Falls side and return back in time to start the hike by 9:00 AM.
I'll be getting to Grundy Forest about 7:00 Saturday morning.

**Hike description**

The first 4.4 miles is kinda tough. Very rocky with a fun 600 ft gain for the last mile of this streach.

The next 5.3 miles is flat.

At the 9.7 to 10.0 mile marks there is a 200 ft down & up. After that it's only .3 to Small Wilds Campsite.
Total of 10.3 miles”

“Maps are at South Cumberland Visitors Center and the Trail Heads.”

“Myself and three others from Nashville will be meeting at the Foster Falls trailhead at noon on Sat. We figure that we will get there in plenty of time to set up camp and be the welcome committee! Anyone else wanting to hike with us are welcome.”

“my wife will be hiking with katiebug.. and the website does state that the challenge cookoff is at SMALL WILDS... check the itinerary page..
