My night is going along swimmingly. Raked a bunch of leaves today. Went into school and checked some papers and then had a late dinner with friends. Now, I'm just wasting some time bouncing around the net. Are you coming to the December cabin hike?”

“I think I am comming in December. I have tried to tell my mom like six times this weekend about you all. Each time I chickened out, Seeing as how I have gone hiking with you all twice now, I dont think she will have a problem. It is just scary to say hey mom.... I met these people on the internet and I am gonna go spend the night with them in some cabin in the woods... But Im working on it. Because I really really want to go in December”

12 hundred thousand tourists speeding up US 395 past my house, trying to kill each other in their SUV's to beat one another into Mammoth to go freeze their collective as$es off.

And we have to put up with this until Easter.
