On a spit over a fire, with stuffing, candied yams, and coal baked onions on the side. Ocean hike feast.

If you took the time to leash train one, it could even be a self propelled meal.

Usually do chickens or game hens tho - they cook faster. See photos on Phils' page. It takes about 7 hours to cook a 14 lb. turkey on a spit.

I don't have the recipe in front of me, but have a recipe for "Thanksgiving on the Trail." Requires a dehydrator--for the meat--, but it was GREAT! If you don't have a dehydrator you could probably use smoked turkey.
