One Great Tent!

“I saw a tent like that at the local outfitters last month, but if my memory serves me well it had 1 pole. The owner said it is/was (they sent it back the next day) a *new and unreleased* model they got to look over. It was a Sierra Designs 2-man, lots of mesh, and ~3lbs.

They also had a 1-man, single-walled freestanding tent that was pretty rad that is soon to be released...wish I could remember the maker. It had mesh on the sides and end that is covered with material that could be cinched down to close, or staked out to open. It too was rad (imho).”

“This is a LL Bean Double Cross. I did a review in the gear reviews on it.I really like it. I think it would hold my wife, son and me no problem. It has a large vestibule also. I dig it! Just under 6 lbs. in my pack.”
