Re: Trail Talk Explained
Dear Mrs. Adventuregirl's Mom

Hello! I would like to introduce myself as a member of the Backpacker.com's Trail Talk. Our organization services a variety of needs for those that enjoy the sport/hobby of hiking. The site allows members to review hiking gear and trails. Furthermore, it serves as an outlet for fellow hikers to offer helpful tips, plan group hikes and converse on topics related to hiking, camping, climbing and canoeing.

The members of this group are experianced hikers who come from a wide variety of backgrounds and nearly all 50 states and Canada. The site boasts members that are of high moral value, with strong family oriented views on life. Having met your daughter, we all feel like she will make a productive member of the group. Her hiking skills, gear knowledge and pleasant personality will enhance the groups' activities.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Trail Talk Hiking Outings, feel free to email me, and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to spending time hiking with your daughter in the future, and would appreciate your full blessing.

Sincerely,

Buddha Bear

DISCLAIMER: Of High Moral Standards and Family Oriented Members exclude: Buddha Bear, Radaghast, Gojo, Violin, Tarp Rat, HOI, Buddur, Nigal, Spock, Arclite, Baumee66, Ice Tea, Town dawg, Steve Hiker, Walkin Dude and all members of the radical group HMWH Club TT division. Members tend to drink at TT functions. Cussing on uphills is a common occurance. The site is does not do background checks, and it's widely belived that we have a few mental patients lurking. Nude photos of female hikers sometimes may be obtained, and posted for non-profit pleasure. Etc, Etc.

Buddha, it might be a good idea to require a signed release from adventure girl and/or her legal guardian(s) in order to minimize an potential liability. Otherwise, your disclaimer appears to be acceptable.
