I believe that there are many many people justifiably incarcerated worldwide that would have done damage if they had not been arrested. Shoot now, ask questions later, I say. The times call for such an approach.

200? Hell, there are more people in jail for moonshining, or jay walking for that matter. Relax - they're not after you... you'll be fine.

Lots of the innovations that we take for granted today are the result of military research and development, ie, radar, GPS, A bombs, H bombs, four-wheel drive, computer, Enigma machine, submarines, jet propulsion, bayonets, MREs, hiking boots, tents, ponchos, wheel, lever, fire, etc...


Way before I even toyed with the idea of becoming an edumacator, I was all for spending skads of $ on defense. That hasn't changed.

As a teacher, I don't feel that my program is the least bit under-funded. In fact, I think more money is "pissed down rat holes" in schools than anywhere else. Laptops for EVERY student? Gimme a break! (kids can't even take care of textbooks, etc)
