Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around and it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

"Here comes the sun---do do do do Here comes the sun and I say"It's allright"---In one sense,it is sad way to begin my day, learning of George's death. On the other hand,it is comforting to think of he and John having a good laugh somewhere in the hereafter. It's allright.

All Things Must Pass
Thankyou, George, for taking me places that were like no other. I can still hear your guitar gently weeping.

The bell is beginning to toll for the baby-boomer generation. I'm glad we have sent some great advance scouts. There will be no harps in heaven for us. Electric guitars!!!

Wow, I feel so sad. I have to go listen to the song Tilt posted. I hope George and John are visiting with each other now.

George's favorite trail food...
Apple scruff, of course.

Lots of memories coursing back through my mind this morning about George's music. His wry, quiet humor in the early Beatles interviews made him my favorite; "All Things Must Pass" was a major part of the music scene during second-semester freshman year at college. And thank you very much for his Handmade Films bringing the Pythons to wider audiences.

George was a great guy. He did some really positive things, like organizing the Concert for Bangladesh, When I was in high school I spent the night in Boston Garden waiting for tickets for his concert. I got great seats! And he was great.

AmyG met him once. She said she was really impressed.

The Art of Dying (All things Must Pass)
There'll come a time when all of us must leave here
Then nothing sister Mary can do
Will keep me here with you
As nothing in this life that I've been trying
Could equal or surpass the art of dying
Do you believe me?

There'll come a time when all your hopes are fading
When things that seemed so very plain
Become an awful pain
Searching for the truth among the lying
And answered when you've learned the art of dying

But you're still with me
But if you want it
Then you must find it
But when you have it
There'll be no need for it

There'll come a time when most of us return here
Brought back by our desire to be
A perfect entity
Living through a million years of crying
Until you've realized the Art of Dying
Do you believe me?

Anyone suffering like George must have been... his time had come and it is a blessing.
