Bird Watching
This from Bizarre News;

It seems a bird-lover in West
Yorkshire, England, had come up with what he thought was an
innovative way to watch his little feathered friends...the
bird-feeder helmet.

Basically, it's a pith helmet with a feeding tray full of
nuts and seeds screwed on top. The idea being to lure birds
in for closer observation. It's inventor, Mike Madden, had
just taken it out for it's maiden voyage when a large gray
squirrel spied the nuts, and attacked his head.

From the impact Mr. Madden guessed the arboreal rodent must
have jumped from the top of a tree, because he was knocked
clean to the ground. He has been taking painkillers and
wearing a neck-brace for a week since the accident, and has
no further plans to re-test his invention.

This is an important lesson for all you bird-watchers out
there! Now that's funny. hee hee

Never go into the woods if you can't protect your nuts from flying squirrels.
