Well, actually I thought that one out very carefully. I even took out a few stronger words that were a bit much. I did regret hitting the submit button (after the fact) as it’s just not worth it. I have come to realize that when people are at different points of thinking this can effect how we view the other’s perspective. For example, if a person is a liberal cynic, they will naturally look upon a very pro American Way person’s views as ultra-patriot and call them a sheep. Which is very ironic because that same person is just as much a sheep for going with the cynical flow and crowd. There are no individuals in life and no matter how radical, rebellious and different one thinks they are being they are falling in with a crowd.”

To me, anyway, honor, loyalty, and responsibility strike me as being very fine ideals. They do, to me anyway, seem more like Marine Corps ideals than American ideals (not to say that they aren't good things, they are).

Well hold on their son! George Dubya is the only BRAVE one fighting the evildoers. That's me - FIGHTER OF EVILDOERS - and that takes a big Texas sized portion of bravery. But the point is that we as Amerikans don't really have any brave ones anymore. I was afraid to send soldiers into Afghanistan because they might get shot and killed. Only after all the bombs had dropped and the enemy eliminated did we send in troops. It's far more brave to drop 15,000 poung DAISY-CUTTER bombs from 40,000 feet. You see, no Americans get killed that way, just innocent people who might be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Bravery is killing by bombing and cruise missiles; cowardice is actually eyeballing the enemy and surgically shooting only the them. At least that's the way I rationalize it.”
