Have you seen them yet?
Tortilla chips in a sleeve like Pringles--
white triangular plastic sleeve-
Torengos is the name.
At last a reason to pack salsa!!

Got them at Kroger- but they might be imported.

Josh,

They are not imported. Torengos are from the makers of pringles. Proctor and Gamble's new product

After checking out chili36's link I found a Procter & Gamble "cookie" in my temporary files folder. Wonder its bowl shaped like Torengos to hold salsa.

If you put Cheese Whiz on a Pringle, cover it with aluminum foil and microwave it, you'll travel in Time.

Proctor & Gamble! 13 Stars!

Run for your very lives!

Actually, some people like to bring Pringles backpacking because of the high calories/weight ratio. I don't know what the tortilla chips have. I carry Fritos a lot for the same reason, plus they double as a firestarter.

Are those considered high fat/salt numbers or low ones?

Love sodium (salt), esp. after a day of hiking.

Love fat, cause I'm skinny and it puts the hunger away in a huff.

Any chip is high in fat-but you will burn the calories fast hiking-
It is junk food-it can't be good for you.
