How long has it been since either Aero or TxWoodsWoman have posted? How far is it from Montana to Texas anyway?

Do ya think he'll get through security?

Maybe he better fly into Cody instead of Billings.

Under the Knife!
Hey everybody, I'm baaaack! I'm fianally back at a computer after my little sugical adventure. I had to have my posterior tibial tendon repaired and my arch rebulit. I'd been fighting it since early spring and suffered greatly on this summer's backpacking trips; pain, swelling, etc. I made it through the running season and finally had the surgery. They sewed up the tendon (passes down inner, lower leg and under the arch). 50 some marathons and 100 mile weeks finally did me in, with the help of flat feet, but I should be OK. I'm supposed to be in this cast, non-weight-bearing, for 2 weeks and then a series of walking casts and braces.

Not to worry! Montanapalooza is still a go! I should be back running late Feb-early March. In the mean time I'm hitting the weight room and planning on spending a lot of time on the bike and eliptical machine.

And, BTW, thanks for your concern! you guys are great. Merry Christmas All!

Thank Goodness!
Aero, glad to hear you are doing a-okay. I'm also relieved that Chief and I don't have to take on too much responsibility. We already seemed to be focusing more on party time than hike time. Hope your Christmas is good.

Tex was on Yahoo IM a day or two ago. I think she changed jobs and is trying to settle into the new role.
