Waiting.....
and afraid Peter will wake up before my wife gets the stuffings for stockings out. WE ARE IN DANGER OF GETTING CAUGHT!

As a gift to all of you, I give the Santis Cam link, given to me by a friend I made in Switzerland. Very cool, you can pan, tilt and zoom. Too bad its in the fog so far today. Pan 55,2 and tilt -9.0 is Urnasch, the town he lives in. It is a farming community, now under 3 ft of snow.

Thanks Fritz. Swell guy you are. Hope we hike together sometime. I am sure I will make your life a living hell.

Over at last!!
It amazes me that I stay up till the wee hours of the morning wrapping just so I can be woken up a few hours later to have those presents unwrapped in a millisecond! LOL

It's great being a Mom!! The greatest gift of all is seeing the little faces all lit up with excitement. They tried on their new skis in the living room. I can't wait to get them out there!! My little man got a hockey helmet and Bauer hockey skates to match.

Me? I got ski gloves, a photon light and other stuff but my favorite gifts are the paper weight with pics of my son, the candle decorated by my oldest and the Christmas ornament made by my four year old. Then there is this tall, dark and handsome guy that must have been sent by angels. :o)

Merry Christmas, Everyone!!

Merry Christmas, Sunshine! How's the weather in Mohawk?

Speaking of Sunshine, we had a brief moment of sunshine a bit ago, but the clouds are back.

Coffee, followed by coffee w/Kahlua, followed by steak & eggs have set the pattern for a day of indulgence. Next comes baking cookies, mixing up a batch of fresh guacamole, and going to friends for X-mas cocktails and buffet dinner.

I'm not even going to yell at the squirrel raiding the bird feeders!

Abby (my 6 month old Boxer) got her first backpack!! She wore it like a bucking bronco, especially when I started loading it with all the other gifts she got. By the end of the morning though she was coming around and if I didn't know better I think she almost likes it. She looks like a rescue dog sporting her red bag.

Family had a great day. The weather here in So Cal was shirt-sleeve (the neighbors were swimming in their pool). BBQ'd a turkey on the Weber...our traditional meal. As usual, we had some friends over as well.

Got a DVD player, DVDs, new mini-mag lites, scanner, fleece jacket and some other stuff.

i am going to do a pilgrim holiday this weekend like we do every holiday season. we are going to live like the pilgrims and eat in the dark by candlelight. we are really concerned with how much energy is used for christian tree lights so doing this will help us use less energy. if they could live on eating corn with native americans in the dark then i think we could do that too. at high-noon we simulate mercilessly slaughtering the native americans as they are giving us their crop. it is an emotional ritual which helps us to better understand the nature of how this nation began. i always play a native american
