“I am lucky the company I work for lets us off for a week or two depending on when the holidays fall. This yr I am off from Dec 21st till Jan 2.”

“I had to work Thanksgiving Day one year. The place had changed ownership and the new owners wanted to see how much business potential there was--against the manager's advice. We spent the day cleaning and playing and watching for cars. Whenever someone pulled into the lot, we hid. It worked, they closed it on Thanksgiving ever after. Of course, we only had to hide 3 times. Some things are just stupid.”

“Hospitals never close ... I'm on call 24/7. That's why bping is a good hobby. To boss, "Sorry, my pager won't work in the middle of nowhere!" More advice - take a vacation out of the country. My pager doesn't work there either! Oh well, at least I get to use the computer all day.”

Holidays from Jan 23rd to Feb 6, but I haven't decided where to go, or what to do with my time. Puerto Vallarta is looking good... maybe some skiing around BC ... I guess I'll wait to see who can play”
