At My JobView Messages“I'm a freaking code slave! Live in a cube. MY JOB SUCKS!” 4:40:33 PM 12/27/01 “Hope he's not baggin' on the MT TT hike. I can't go, but I'm going to try to help out with shuttles, picnics, and kegs (for those that can, and want to, imbibe).” 4:41:31 PM 12/27/01 “My job I work at Southern Electric coil.I have been there for 11 years.I make coils for electric motors anything from 1horsepower to 10,000horsepower.I like my job but I don't.I like it becuase I can do whatever I want about 80% of the time. What I don't like is the owner he is a jerk....” 4:45:08 PM 12/27/01 “Iluv, that is generally the prob. at most jobs. Chief, I'm really hoping that too. I would love to do the trip, but I'm way too new at this to plan it.” 4:48:02 PM 12/27/01 “Jerky owners stink! Sounds like a good job! Lefty, cubeville is... well cubeville. I made a cardboard door for my cube. Has a make believe key hole. Before that I had a make believe door. ahahahhaaahhahahah!!!” 4:49:32 PM 12/27/01 “Yes that is very true....But ya know what I am glad I have one becuase times are lean right now in my field with work.....:(” 4:50:56 PM 12/27/01 “smokygirl - Thanks for the reference to Ken Wise. May I suggest that you read the strings: Trail Shelters and Hallucinations in the Smokies . If you have not read them, you may find them enjoyable.” 4:52:33 PM 12/27/01 “eggsackly! You take what you can git...” 4:52:50 PM 12/27/01 “Hey Smokygirl do you have a picture of that????Ohhhh darn I don't even get to have a make believe anything at my job....Good for you smokygirl....But don't lose the key to door.....:) LOL...:) Mike” 4:53:18 PM 12/27/01 “I'm sick of this cube. POS!!” 4:54:14 PM 12/27/01 “Man I hate when I forget words........"THE"door!!!!!!” 4:55:48 PM 12/27/01 “That's what I say too, Iluv, I really can't complain. Where I live, I am lucky to be employed somewhere other than a bar or gas station. Smoky, sounds like you are at least allowed to have a little fun. I'd like to make a big cardboard head of my boss and have the mouth be really wide open and fit around the door. So it would look like stepping into my office, was stepping into my boss' head. HaHa, that would kick a$$.” 4:56:03 PM 12/27/01 “That is a good one Newgirl...I have thought of so many ways for my boss to get it....I don't even know where to start....:)” 4:57:32 PM 12/27/01 “Thats it!!!! I'm going to look for another job out west Can't take it anymore!” 5:01:20 PM 12/27/01 “I would also like it if I had an oven so I could bake cookies at work. People would love to walk in and smell chocolate chip cookies. You'd never expect it at a lumberyard either.” 5:03:00 PM 12/27/01 “Also, I'd be a hero to the guys working in the sawmill. They'd be like, "Cookies? Yes!"” 5:05:26 PM 12/27/01 “Good point....” 5:05:53 PM 12/27/01 “those were awesome threads, nowslimmer! Thank you! I love ghost stories! I love the history in the GSMNP. I recently hiked the Old Settler's Trail, and that was such a wonderful experience. I imagined so many things. We did about 4 hours of nighthiking. Was kind of eerie...” 5:06:02 PM 12/27/01 “hahaha - newgirl, the cardboard head is a good idea! I put some chimes up and labeled them "doorbell."” 5:07:21 PM 12/27/01 “Too funny! Okay, I have to get off now. I must resist another post. I have to get my checkbook balanced.” 5:08:30 PM 12/27/01 “Heh. Just messing with ya. You guys post like this all day?? How do you find new things to discuss? iluvbacking--we know, change your name to Mike. That way you don't have to type it at the bottom of every post. :P” 5:16:51 PM 12/27/01 “smokygirl - Glad that you enjoyed those strings. I think I saw you mention yhour hike a week or so ago. I have not tried the Old Settler's Trail, yet. You'll enjoy CS #30. It is scenic and really back in there in the mtn.s and woods. Have a good weekend hike. And thanks for: "Let me know if you ever need a shuttle or a partner!" I appreciate it and have duely noted it. "mtnman" is a good winter backpacker at GSMNP. He might make a good hiking companion. And are you located anywhere near Kodiak?” 5:22:26 PM 12/27/01 “near Kodak the town? I am about a half hour or so away from Kodak. :D” 5:28:01 PM 12/27/01 “biz needs a spankin'! whoo-hoo!” 5:38:21 PM 12/27/01
