Haiku is DEFINITELY a young-un.

My first computer had a MASSIVE 200 MG (not GB) hard drive and I thought surely that would last a lifetime. Oh, that box had a whopping 8 MB of RAM. And CD-RW didn't exist yet? Hey, CD didn't exist yet. I remember installing software, "please insert diskette #18 of 24."”

“- that the 8 track recorder was "IT". and you'd spend hours recording all the vynal albums onto 8 track

I remember being angry that my U.S. history schoolbooks didn't include much info on JF Kennedy, because his presidency and assassination were too recent.

I remember a summer where all the grownups had the television tuned to the Watergate hearings, and I wasn't allowed to watch anything I wanted to watch.

I admit I used to watch the Donny and Marie show. Gear Slut must be female or at least schiztophrenically occasionally female. Which is fine.
