Poem the scared heart

“The scared heart

No matter how much you want to hate her, you can’t. No matter what you do, you know that you will never forget her. You have so many memories. But there is only one that will stick in your mind. The one memory of you finding her cheating on you. She ripped your heart out and stomped all over it. But you find it hard to hate her. No matter how hard you want to hate her you can’t find that place in your heart because you know that there will always be love for her. You know that time will heal a broken heart but you want it to heal now because, you don’t want to feel hurt anymore. What can you do to help with the hurt. You need something to take your mind off of this women that scared you. You go to the closet and start going though your hiking gear. You find the stove that she bough you for your Birthday and you want to cry. You have to be tough and try to forget her. All of your friends tell you get over her. But you just can’t, you still have love for her. Love is a strange thing. It works in weird ways. You have been though many break ups but none like this one. This one hurts!! It hurts deep down inside. What are you going to do to forget her? Go for a hike. Grab your bay pack and go on a hike. Natural will help heal you. It smells good and birds talk to you. You can go to that special place that no one knows about except for you. You can make the hurt go away with some fishing. There is some thing about nature that will heal you. It is so quit that nothing will matter. You feel at peace for once in a long time. Nature is the ultimate medicine.”

Hey, watch the typing though. Is that "scared" as in terrified? Or is it supposed to be "scarred" as in a scar has been put on your heart? I'm not sure reading, but I have a hunch it "scarred."

it is good that you can still allow your love flow toward her being.....that is major scar preventative.....and hey, now that you are not just focused on her as the one and only source of love...you might notice you are probably swimmin in a sea of it everyday!
