I made this one. I use a bent wire coat hanger for the pot stand. I haven't made a windscreen/simmer ring for it yet. Depending on how you make it (the windscreen) and how you use it, it can slow down the burn.

No Pathman, more water would just take longer. The flame is what determines boil time. That and the distance between the flame and the pot. You have to play around with it until you get it right.

skullcap - I always recommend testing a camping stove of any type outdoors away from buildings - much less chance of major property loss in case of defect or accident
