anybody use a Kelty Moraine pack? “I just purchased a Kelty Moraine pack and have a question. Inside the main compartment there is a pocket on the back that has a compression strap attached. What is this pocket for? Thanks” 1:12:45 PM 12/28/01 “if it is on the part that goes against your back, it is the hydration pocket, for your platypus, etc.” 1:20:30 PM 12/28/01 “I have the Telluride...is it a loose open top pocket with a cinch strap at the top?...if so..it's for you to put a water bladder in...and then thread the hose out a slit right above that pocket, or out the mole hole..or out the top.” 1:22:20 PM 12/28/01 “yeah... that.” 1:23:49 PM 12/28/01 “*high fives rad*..man we must be BORED...the lightning quickness of our post shows this...god i hope my boss never comes back to work..lmao” 1:26:26 PM 12/28/01 “Ok...that makes sense. Thanks guys. But...I don't use a hydration system. Wonder what I can put in there? Hmmm...” 1:28:38 PM 12/28/01 “netcelt...i haven't either..but i just bought a unbottle from camel..and a daypack/bladder from platypus...seems alot nicer than a canteen or sipping from a nalgalene....does your pack have the mole hole behind your head?..you could cinch folded xtra clothes back there..*shrugs*” 1:34:27 PM 12/28/01 “start using one. they are excellent.” 1:34:57 PM 12/28/01 “Have one that I use when mountain biking but never thought to use it while backpacking.” 1:38:37 PM 12/28/01 bladder “Nicecelt, since getting a camel back...I treat it like my American Express Card...don't leave home without it. They are the best!” 1:43:26 PM 12/28/01 Kelty Moraine Pack “Hi, I was wondering if it would be wise to bring a kelty moraine with me on 3+ day trek. I'm going to Philmont Scout Ranch again and I want to down size. Thanks” 8:30:16 PM 2/27/07
