Howdy from a newbie

“Hey everyone!
I'm new here and I just thought I should say hey before I start posting. My name is SwampRat. I'm from Baltimore, MD but I go to college at St. Mary's. Our Outdoors club is basically a bunch of trailb*tches as you would say. We'd love to go more but we got time and money constraints. Our school gives us limited funding, as compared to our sister school University of MD at College Park which gets thousands of dollars. (We're not bitter at all...)
I am hoping to learn how to become a more weight conscious backpacker. I am starting to get into making my own gear. I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year! It's great to be here,

I got placed into Comp102, for sophmores. I am proud to say that I got an A in the class. My grammar was not the deciding factor. The class was based on Genetic and DNA Rights and Cloning. My arguing ability in my papers saved my hide. :) But I'm working on it!

Speaking of "The Blair Witch" has anyone seen the movie and I use that loosely "The Bare Wench Project" Lets just say don't waste your time.”
