I'm still fiddlin' as well. With camera, film, sunglasses and a few other items I'd forgotten on the first weigh-in, I'm now at 32 lbs. Unless I change packs (my gregory weighs 6 lbs ) I can't see getting it much lower.

“I'm trying to get my pack weight low without giving up camp comfort. I'm still taking my thermarest with chair kit and I just bought a light weight stool that I may bring. It may be overkill, but if I can do it for 30 pounds I don't care.”
