The paper boy is still freaked out about finding, what only appeared to be, a dead body sprawled on my front steps.

Need I mention Chief tapping the keg at the top of the Beartooth Pass and everybody draining it on the way down that windy road?

“I too must confess and sorry if you weren't there. It happen at Ouzel lk, or as I like refer to it , in my memoirs, as 'Oozing lk'. It was later that evening after the storm had subside, that I ventured out into the night for my evening rituals. The skies had all but cleared and the moon, what a sight, was laced in a silvery halo. I left the headlamp behind because the moonshine glinting off the double bit axe head was all I needed to see me thru my campground rounds.

From tent to tent I went looking for right particpant(s) to partake in my dreamy moondance. And to my amazement every tent I peek into was empty. I said to myself 'what the f*ck, where the h*ll is everyone?' And it was at that moment when I heard the giggling and moans and the flashes of light coming from over the ridge.

As I stood upon the ridge I saw the most unbeliveable thing. There was a little two man tent bulging at the seams and wrathing across the forest floor like some snake trying to shed some skin. It was at that moment when I saw CMBs get violently ejected from the tent. He was out like a light. His pants where ankle high and he had what appeared to be 'No Admittance' stamped on his forehead. As I walked closer to the door to investigate, the flashes and moans grew with intensity. I laid my axe down and crouched for a looksee, why? I'll never know, but it was at the instance when a dozen or so greedy hungry hands come out of the pulsating tent. Grabbing on to whatever they could in an effort to reel my in. I tried, well not really, to get away.

As morning was breaking over the horizon I found myself mumbling buttnaked waist deep in mountian stream to some squirrel with gonads that would make any dog proud. My muscle pains nolonger troubled me and I was feeling totally refresh as I tiptoed back thru camp picking up my trail of tattered clothes as I went. Teabags on branches!!! Musta been a helluva night!! I saw CMBs thru the trees, he was still out like a light but was hugging and licking the life out of some unsuspecting rock. It funny how the remaining nights where quieter as if a key ingredient was missing.

Oh well, I'm bringing a bigger tent and my tyvek 'twister mat' next time is all I can say!!

Next weekend's Thanksgiving, around here already, but I'm aiming for the one after that, to get out, somewhere, for a couple of nights”

CMB, After this weekend I'll be at 58. We're leaving in a few minutes for the Sierras! This is the end of 51 consecutive weekends in the wilderness. That's one more than last year! And then I start again on the following weekend.
