chikkin?! What the heck is that? Some soy-product dressed up like processed chicken? That stuff'll kill you.

Another slice of pumpkin pie and coffee. YUM

chikkin is the way that chik-fil-a spells it, because cows can't spell. it's probably better chicken than you can get up north!

They actually used to have a Chik-fil-a in Toledo, OH, but that got pushed out when the Canadian chains started invading. Tim Horton's could kick Krispy Kreme's ass.

Breakfast: muffin sandwich made special by the school lunch ladies. They're on my side.

I always hear about freakin' Krispy Kremes and how the stars love them and how they are so popular and how Leonardo DiCaprio was seen eating them like crazy at a Knicks game (or something like that) . . . . I have never seen a Krispy Kreme in my life though. I don't think they have invaded MT yet. What the hell are they?

We have Krispy Kremes here in ABQ now. Cops got in trouble a few months ago for making their heli pilot land for doughnuts.

I used to deliver them as a Cub Scout event in Northern FL. What more can you ask for, Krispy Kremes on your doorstep Sat morning!

Finally, I know the truth behind the Krispy Kreme. I don't feel so bummed out anymore. I hate donuts. Who wants to eat fried balls of sugar and lard? BTW, I really hate Dunkin Donuts. In the middle of a beautiful stroll down a cobblestone lane in Haarlem, Holland what should appear but a stupid Dunkin Donuts. It really ruined the romance.

Dunkin Donuts
My first job was at Dunkin Donuts. I lasted six months - it was gross and the bakers used to pick their nose. I told the manager off and walked out.
ahhaahahahaha!!
Dunkin Donuts in Holland? Lawd!! Holland is cool! I went to Groenigen (sp?) with my aunt on a day trip (visiting my relatives in Germany).

I am blessed. There is both a Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme right down the street from the hospital! I like the chocolate covered ones with icing in the middle! I'm out of here!

Smoky, I'm not sure how to spell it either. My bf (at the time) had a grandmother who lived there. I also new a real hottie from there. I never went there. I was in almost every other part of the country though and yes, Holland rocks. Where in Germany did you visit? I stayed for a wk. w/ in Rosenhiem (sp.?). It's about an hr. south of Munich.

Deutschland
My mother is from Bremerhaven and I have relatives there and also in Cuxhaven and Beder Kesa, which is the northenmost part of Germany on the North Sea. I often go there every few years. I have been to Hamburg, Bremen, and through parts of Bavaria. I have been to Amsterdam, but it was when I was a kid.

I don't remember Rosenhiem, but I remember going past Munich - my Momma hates Munich! It's funny how different southern and northern Germany are.

I have been to Triberg, but I can't think if that is in Switzerland or Germany?! I went with my parents to the Black Forest when I was 15, but I didn't get to hike or anything. It was majestic!

My cousin is six months younger than me - he plays in a band in Bremerhaven. I have so much fun hanging out with him and his friends whenever I go. His friends are REAL hotties - whew!!

Cool! I love it when I meet another person to discuss Europe with me. Rosenhiem is in the Bavarian region. I only have friends from southern Germany, so I don't know about the difference, but I'm sure it is true. I lived in Hemstede and Haarlem when I was in Holland. Does your family vacation in Holland at the resort towns on the North Sea? I met alot of German people on the beach. I mean alot, there were more Germans on the beach than Dutch. I got to do a little hiking in the Alps around Rosenhiem. Majestic is a good word. Those are the forests that inspire fairy tales.

Food For Thought...
BTW... my brother knew an FBI agent who had previously inspected chicken plants when he worked for the Dept. of Agriculture.

He wouldn't eat chicken. Ever. Not on a bet. He wouldn't let his family eat chicken. And if he talked to anyone for more than 30 seconds about what he had seen... THEY'd stop eating chicken.

Cue the Ozark Mountain Daredevils!

My aunt and uncle go to Holland often - they used to vacation in Yugoslavia I think? The beaches are supposed to be nice there.

That is cool that you lived there for awhile - lucky Newgirl!!

I went to Europe by myself when I graduated high school - visited my relatives and then went on a tour to Italy, Greece, Switzerland, France, and England. It was such a blast!! I hiked above Lake Lucerne in Switzerland... it was incredible!
