Snow in the smokies

Anyone heard if they got snow in the smokies in the last few days. I'm climbing Mt. Leconte in two weeks

I don't think they got any from the first storm, but they should be getting some tonight. I just tried to check the page with the 24-hour snowfall totals for the Smokies but the Link is Busted, *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*

Two weeks is a lot of time for the weather to change. Snow in the past day or two might be a moot point.

I am in Knoxville right now.. headed for Virginia in the morning.. weather prediction is 8" - 12" by 10am tomorrow morning.

I usually check NOAA for weather. That link will take you to East TN climate data. You will have to scroll and hunt a bit but the weather reports from various parts of the park are posted.

This morning there was 6 inches of standing snow on LeConte and Newfound Gap.
