Larry Llama Wants YOU....
So, here we are and it's a new year.

Heads up.

The llama hikes will go as planned.
The dates remain the same.

Now is the time to start asking for your vacation schedule.

I would like to begin making more serious attempts to get everyone to sign up, as soon as they find out the dates they can take off this summer.

There are still five trips:

Shakedown LLama Hike to Hot Springs

Shakedown Llama Hike to Virginia Lake.

Llama Rama Caldera Car Camp.

Llama Rama Cottonwood Lakes Fishing Trip.

Llama Hike to Hot Springs - #2.

Is anyone still alive out there?

I'm in for the Lake Virginia Trip. There's a young and impressionable pre-teen I'd like to bring along too. Chiri, is about Turk's age.

Also thinking that at the layover at Virginia maybe a mid trip loop over Silver Pass and on around through grassy meadow might be do-able. Worried about the snow levels though.

Good pick for an early season trip, BTW. Incredible views and topography.

Hmmm ... Cottonwood Lakes sounds like a great flyfishing and bolette hunting trip. I dunno.... maybe. .... But the Caldera Car Camp sounds good too. I could see that turning into a pot smoking, beer swilling, dutch oven food gut busting orgy. I'm sure there would be some great book and politicking discussions on that trip. Even some fights if someone sits in someone's chair.

But Mel, is there going to be a late September trip over into the Wright's Basin for some golden fishing? I think that would be the trip I really want to go on. Fewer crowds and all.

happy new year!!
I'll do the weekend part to Lake Virginia. I'll be out of vacation by the 2nd Hot Springs, but might be able to do a weekend out of it.

Mel:

Ms. Monster and I are down for at least the hotsprings and/or VA lakes trip. Maybe more. You'll be getting a check in the mail and a confirmation of the dates very shortly. Looks like a heavy snow year. Could this change things?

Thanks!!

How About Moe And Curly?
You can count on me(Moe) and Henry(Curly) another teenager.....Henry, not me!

Hey, everyone should bring a young buck along to do the heavy lifting.

I think we're good for July.

We'll firm it up.....the date AND my arse.....soon enough.

Hi. Kids....
Sorry for the absence.

I have a low frustration threshold, and sitting around at my desk waiting for this thing to load is more than I can stand to wait for, most of the time.

Obi, M'Dear...

Nope - the Yahoo Calendar is off the radar screen.
My new calendar is posted on the first page of my website as:
Check Availability.
But that is stictly to tell client-type people what days I still have open.

Not to worry about snow.
I will post a URL for current precip conditions.
We don't pay any attention to what appears on the graph until about mid-February.

Sometimes we don't get any snow at all through Jan. Feb.

We start to sweat when we get heavy, wet, back to back storms up until the second week in March.

So far we are above normal for season totals, but it's only January.

I'm going to send out a new message to all you little groupies soon.

We can start trying to firm up some plans.

Sol.....

Are you just trying to tease me?!

You said you couldn't go.

When I finally came out of my Christmas Coma.... I got on an airplane and flew 2000 miles across the country. Then drove 1800 miles to Seattle... played... went backpacking... went to Portland... Played.. and then drove the last 600 miles back home. On Tues, I go back to the place that gives me a piece of paper every 2 weeks and says it represents my time each month.

Happy New Year... Future Coma's await.
