This is merely a suggestion; Since many of our trail names are not gender specific, perhaps Phil could use text color in his link list that would indicate gender. Blue links for the guys, pink for the girls. It would greatly aid those of us guys who are merely dogs on the prowl for good looking hiker chics to drool over. (tic)

LMAO! Would Gear Slut's be listed in lavender?

Hobbit - Unfortunately, I can't color code hot links without a lot of extra effort and expertise I don't currently have. Maybe the females could be italized or something.

HOWEVER, all anyone has to do is look at the pictures and they can distinguish well enough!

Phil, I believe that it was intended as a joke. If you are seriously considering it though, I would not like my name italicized.

LOL! If you can't tell, it doesn't matter anyway.

Of course it is a joke. Seriously, I am very sensitive about making gender or personal appearance a factor on my website. It doesn't take too much to go from good natured fun to offending someone who may be sensitive about that.

Hobbit - How long has it been since you have been on a hike?

Hey Phil, how's it going? Yes, it was indeed a toungue in cheek comment. You KNOW I can't be taken seriously. I think the last time I actually hit the trail with a pack on my back was the fall of 2000. However I think I feel good enough to get back after it now that the doctors have a handle on my problem.

If your "problem" has to do with not being able to tell boys from girls, I don't think any doctor can help you.....
