Did not completely mean to upset you, but it appeared that you called me a jerk. How did you know? Now, I looked! And I enjoyed your pictures. They remind me of when I had a white Christmas there. With what did you take the photographs? Did you take any special measures to keep the camera warm? And what trail or trails did you use? Friends, I hope, even if I am a jerk. Anyway I just used a standard point and shoot camera (very cheap) so I wasn't to worried about it getting ruined. A lot of the photos had white spots on them I had to remove with Photoshop. Those pictures are from the Rainbow Falls Trail that leads to the summit of Leconte.” 4:49:45 PM 1/07/02 “Per you all's request I made the smaller images just a little bit bigger I will make the larger ones bigger as well but that will be later. The large image files look to be between 10k and 13k each. I think you could easily double that, at least, without being concerned about load time. Most of the full size pics, on my site, are between 40k and 50k as progressive jpg's so the image appears and then gradually improves. As for the thumbnails, if you want to keep the file sizes to a minimum, you could still make the images larger and just compress them more. They're just thumbs, after all. They don't need to be very high res. Once they have loaded, they don't have to reload every time someone views a full size pic. Experiment a little.
