Ages of Posters

“Hey y'all.

I'm back from Vermont. Lots of fun hiking the AT and Long Trail up there. Some nice shelters, and some nice trails. I wish I had crampons though,the ice was pretty tough.
I was just curious as to the ages of the posters on here, and the male to female ratio. I'm 19 and male.
I need some people like Biz down at my college. My school is 70% female, but only a small handful like to hike. I'm definitly interested in girls who hike and like the outdoors. Bah, what can ya do? haha. Anyway, It's good to be back. There's more snow down here in Maryland than up in vermont.

Skully, he's too crass for 11. Probably too crass for 12. I think his wife lets him watch too many dirty movies.

I'm 41 and proud of having survived this long. So 35 is NOT old.

Besides, one of my favorite TT'ers is well into his 60's and he ain't old.”

“53½, did Dix in a snowstrom with my 54 yr old buddy on Dec. 30. Went in for 3 days. Got my first frost bite when I was 7 and still won't stay inside. Have been backpacking, X-country skiing (the frostbite), canoe camping, hunting and fishing all my life. I wish I'd got into mountaineering a lot sooner and younger, but I'm enjoying myself now as an empty nester gliding right into my second childhood from the first. Father Christmas brought a nice pair of Scarpa Invernos and I want to wear them out before - well - before you know... Happy trails.”
