One of our greatest sources of entertainment on slow weekend days is asking Abby what sorts of sounds different animals make. She knows the standard zoo and farm animals but it gets real fun when we throw in Platypus, Kangaroo, porcupine, sloth, etc. She invents sounds for all of them. =D”

“She done got me in public! HPM and I had just arrived at our troops' court of honor, and Laurel was a little fussy and warm. 20 minutes in, she projectile vomited all over me, her self, the floor, a table, etc., etc.,

I had to wear a scout shirt home. Laurel is just peachy now. My shoes may never come clean.”

“Congrats, you'll have a lot of fun with them. Watching them grow is totally amazing, all of the different steps they go through from baby through adolescence to an adult. All the trials and tribualations of being a parent...(sigh)Personally 1-5yrs is the best. 5-13 so so. 13-18 the hardest.

Mine's turning 21 this week...can't believe it myself. I like to tease her and tell her how she was such a beautiful baby and still is....she can only take so much of that though.”

“My beautiful 10 1/2 month old just busted my nose. The cartilage feels wobbly but looks straight. It took me 15 minutes to stop the bleeding, which Laurel thought was hilarious.”
