LOL! Hey Gator Bite, we haven't even used our BEST PLAYER yet this year!

Poor arclite, first it was the republicans, then OSU Buckeye football, next OSU Buckeye basketball, what's next? Will the both the WWE and NASCAR fold?!”

“Hey, Arc, it was a good game. I actually thought that Florida played a strong game. Not their best, but strong just the same. They just couldn't get their teamwork going, and Kansas has to take some credit for that.
Not to be an obnoxious sports fan, but I thought the Jayhawks would win this one. They are going to lose the games that make you say "WTF????", and win the big ones. Now, to get past the first round of the tournament.”

Ohio State looks very good, Buddha. They could very well make the final four once Oden gets healthy.

I was surprised to see the final score this morning. It looked as if OSU was really taking it to NC. They were playing great defense and were knocking down some incredible shots.

Florida/OSU should be a real barn burner.”

“Sorry, Tunacan, the stats do not support your argument my friend. And without meaning any offense to Kansas, being born there is not what made the Baron the greatest honest coach in college ball (Wooden being the greatest cheating coach). A large part of his success can be attributed to Phog Allen, who was born in Mo.

This year, like most of the years since Tubby came to Ky., does not reflect our greatness, but hopefully his career at Kentucky is only a sad chapter in the story of the greatest college program in history.

At least he squeaked out a win against Louisville, the lesser of the two mediocre teams in our fair state. It's a shame when we have to struggle to beat a team of that caliber.

“Woundy. I have snuck onto some Hoosier message boards in the past right after Kelvin Sampson became your coach. It looked like there was great doubt about him. What do you think so far?
I have always liked Sampson and his teams. He rarely loaded up on talent, but always had two or three players who would probably jump off a skyscraper if he asked them to. It's a great thrill to see his players put it all on the line against teams with more talent and outplay them.
Anyway, I wish you luck, and I would love to see the Hoosiers back in the thick of things.”

Wisconsin loses, so that probably puts Ohio St. at the top of the college basketball world.

Ohio State is the joke of the college sports world this year. Florida basketball wasn't quite as dominating as our football team. Florida only beat Ohio State by 26 back in December.

Florida is clearly the team to beat this year. Ohio St. is to young at this point. They can, and will be a great team if Oden stays in school, but I don't see that happening.

The tournment this year will be interesting. You will not have a Duke team ranked 1 or 2 this year. You will see some mid-majors (S. Illinois, Butler) get in by not winning their confrence.”

“Vanderbilt seems pretty good, Wounded. As with the football, it's hard to tell. The SEC has never been a real power basketball conference and it doesn't appear to be very good this year.

But there's no argument about Florida. They exemplify TEAM. They play so well together that I really think they are the team to beat. Everyone is giving them their best shot and they've hung tough. Their only difficulty is focus. If they can stay hungry, and focused, they'll be tough for anyone to beat.

With everyone gunning for them though, it would be nice to have played a really tough ACC schedule in order to prepare for tourney time.

Second of all, the Buckeye/Badger matchup might have been somwhat exciting, but neither team played that well. Also, the score was like a high school game, and it wasn't because of great defense.

The first 3 were easy, Kansas was tough, but I feel deserving of the 4th.

NC and the Bagers both lost yesterday and because of the loss, probably get in as number 2's. Kansas has one more loss than UCLA but are ranked higher. Tough call

Still a week or so left so things may change.

Clearly the Gators will be favored to win again and should. They play well together as a team, solid in all aspects of the game.

Anyone can beat anyone on a given day though, and that is what makes the dance so fun.”

The strength of schedule is going to affect Kansas, and they should get in as a #2. That is, if they win their remaining regular season games. The above-mentioned teams have a better RPI than KU.
Yes, Chili, Memphis is rolling. They will be dangerous in the tourney, but I don't see them in the Elite Eight. Tennessee is making Bruce Pearl pine for the frozen tundra this season. They might get in the dance, but I would imagine they will get out just as fast.

Big ten fans are claiming that the national championship has already been decided after “THE GAME OF THE CENTURY” between #1 Wisconsin and #2 Ohio St.!

The two best teams have already played. It’s a done deal. There needs to be a rematch between Wisconsin and Ohio St. because those teams are OBVIOUSLY the two best teams in the country.
