“Was fortunate enough to score tickets to KU/UCLA game. Sat two rows behind the visitors' bench. Best seat I've ever had in Allen Field House.
And, yes, it was a foul at the end of the game.
In any case, the Jayhawks are still a work in progress this season. They have had some streaks of good basketball, but for the most part are relying upon sheer strength and speed to win games. I see Duke combining talent with great basketball IQ. If KU is going to do anything this season, and I think they will, they will have to be more disciplined on offense.
It's going to be a great season and Duke will not win the NCAA championship. Take it to the bank.”

“Illinois lost to UIC then to Mizzery. The UIC lose was pure lack of enthusiasm for the game. The Mizzery loss was lazy turnovers and poor decisions on the offensive end.

The UIC loss looks a lot worse, but the loss to Mizzery sticks in my gut a lot more.”

Man is Minn long. They get into the passing lanes like I have not seen in a long time. They fail because they do not have anyone that can finish well near the hoop or multiple players that can threaten outside. It's a shame, because Minny looks like they should have size and athletics to beat anyone.”

Rutgers hasn't been competitive in basketball for several decades.

The new coach did an amazing job with the bad news bears team he was handed when he was hired. I expect him to make some waves with the recruiting class he put together. Its probably asking too much to hope for an NCAA bid with a group of freshmen, but they would make a great Cinderella team. I'm hoping the sportscasters won't be able to talk about anything else come March.”

One things for sure, Wichita State should have been invited to the NCAA tourney last season. Perhaps the Big Least might only get 10 bids this year instead of 11.
