“I was very surprised they got in. It is based solely on the strength of their early season run. They have the #3 rated out of conference schedule in the country. At least the NCAA was consistent. Two years ago we didn't get in with 22 or so wins. Georgia got in with like 17. They criticised our non-conf schedule. We changed who we play and they rewarded us. I can't say I disagree with you, but at least those bastards at the NCAA were consistent.”

“At the HS where I taught for 6 years there is this female teacher, an old maid sort who is very difficult to deal with to say the least. She is very strict and by the book with everything from kids running in the halls, having no pass and she is specially hard on teachers overusing and abusing the copy machines, which she has to fix. She is a miserable terror, kinda like the soup nazi.

Well, guess who runs a very large NCAA bracket contest every year? She does of course. 300-400 people from across the county get involved. She runs it quite professionally and issues updates online and on paper (school property of course) after every game. We are talking some serious money here, with the winner getting $400-500 or more. I'm opting out this year and will have a little competition with my son and daughters.

List teams from 1 to 64 in order of how far they'll go. They will be assigned the point total of their ranking for each win. Most points win. For example, you have Kentucky rated 64 and they win 3 games then you get 64*3 = 192 points. Post by lunch tommorrow and I'll incorporate into a spreadsheet for scoring.”
