Since I haven't kept up with b-ball this year, I think I'll post my point predictions based stricktly on seeding and see what happens.

I think they got into the NIT. I don't understand how Purdue and Illinois got in.

The NIT is being run by the NCAA this year so it should be no surprise that some big name schools didn't make it to the big dance and thus are available for the NIT.

Cool. Sounds like we will have some fun picking teams. I like your idea, Day. Just go with the "experts".
Chili, let me guess who you have going all the way. Mmmmm...does it start with an "M"?
I don't know how Arkansas got in. Losing record in the SEC, lost all their games to Big 12 schools, including Misery, and just got spanked by the Goiters. Arky, did you have anything to do with this?
And, last but not least, I still feel sorry for Ped. Having to cheer for Tejas against Kansas must be pretty depressing.
I will have my picks by Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it.

Well, should be fun locally. Zags and Wazzu are in. My alma mater, the Lobos, sucked this year. Fired another coach before his contract expired. Lady Lobos are in though, after smacking BYU in the conference tournament.

There is a bulletin board in the lab that gets decorated anew each month. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines etc. It appeared as a Hoops boards this morning, complete with bracket and places to put items from your alma mater. Shame I had to put my Lobo stuff on the Women's board.

The Pack just played 5 games in 6 days and won 4 of them, just barely losing to UNC in the ACC title game.

Come on WK, don't be hating on the Big 10 this year. And don't be calling out PU and UI when they got the better of Samscum. (well, at least Illinois did).

Damn, I can't believe I have KU winning it all. Gotta give them credit, they have buckets full of talent.

Well, we narrowed the gap to a mere 20 points by the end of the game. I would conclude that the first half of your first round NCAA tourney game isn't the best time to have your worst half of the season.

Jeez, they didn't even shoot 50% on free throws....

Louisville made 4 more 3-pointers and 8 more free throws - that seems to add up to 20 points....

No upsets yet. For awhile, it looks as if Pennsylvania could run with A&M. Overcame 13 point halftime deficit. A&M up over 10 again with the clock ticking away.

My cinderalla this year just got #&%!$ slapped. She pulled up her skirt and let Butler have a piece of that pie.

I think I may already be out of this tournment this year.

Tough game, Bowlder. However, as young as Stanford is, they have a bright future ahead.
I'm not crying over Duke, that's for sure. However, I was surprised to see how choked up Coach K was.
Texas A&M often plays the kind of game it did tonight. It's hard to count them out, and I think they will take it to Louisville.
Now, for Kansas and the dreaded first round...
Dunadan

After the fact, the Stanford coach said he knew it wasn't going to be pretty. I guess there was one kind of team he figured they'd have no chance against, and that was it. He didn't tell the kids that before the game, but it turned out he was right. But heck, they weren't expected to do as well as they did this year anyway....
