I love the trash talk from the Villainova folks on the KU boards. The Wildcats are a tough team, even though they have the most common mascot in all of sportdom, but I still think Kansas takes care of business.”

“BowlderGal went to lunch w/some work mates yesterday, and noticed there was a big chalkboard in the bar area of the restaurant with a men's bracket. She noticed that, instead of Michigan STATE, the idiots had written Michigan. When she mentioned it to the bartender, the bartender said "Is there a difference?" Sheesh....”

“I picked WVU and Louisville to prevail today.”

“What do the teams who will play UCLA learn by watching last nights game?”

“How did Tennessee ever get ranked number one in the nation? That was the sloppiest game I've seen in a long time. By my count, Tennessee could have easily won the game if they made half of the shots they took within 2 feet of the basket. I went to bed before the second half was over.
Loved the X vs WVU game.”

“Tennessee was lucky to even be playing last night. They could have lost to American and should have lost to Butler. It was time for their tournament to be done. UCLA looks like it will be next.”

“Since their win over Memphis, UT never regained intensity. They were a materially different team after that matchup. The lost to Vandy, completely sucked in the SEC tournament, looked bad against American, but did manage to beat a very good Butler team (barely).

I picked Louisville and concur, it was time for them to exit stage left in the tourney.

UNC still looks like the national champion to me. I am not sure Memphis can get by Texas in Houston assuming they both get that far.”

“I agree with UNC, from what I have seen so far. Kansas has unlimited potential, but I can't pick them now with Self's history.”

Memphis made Michigan State look like a high school team. Davidson made Wisconsin look slow. Kansas took care of business, but it wasn't a satisfying win, IMO. Texas looked sharp, and it could be a good matchup with Memphis.
Eight teams left. I still like the Jayhawks' chances.”

Now, the way I see it, Kansas just got its "bad" game out of the way and will roll in the Final Four. (although the other three teams are all monsters)
