“Add me to the list of people who think the movie was well done and worth seeing. They followed the book well and showed remarkable restraint in avoiding 'Hollywoodizing' the story. The book has a lot more detail, so if you see the movie and find the story intriguing, its still worth reading the book. You get a lot of insight into what the soldiers were thinking and feeling as the battle went on. Many of those guys had never been shot at before.
