My sympathies
Thank God the dog didn't start posting messages.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

I would also like to add my condolences. It sounds like Scooby will be sorely missed.

If it would help in any way, I would be happy to set up a simple, but tasteful memorial page on the Photo Page website. Just forward any information and images that you would like posted and I will come up with something.

Thank you Phil, I would like that. I will work on it and email it to you when I think I've got everything.

I had heard such wonderful things about Scooby and well she was loved by all. My heart goes out to you. Hold your memories close. Those will never die.

As a long-time pet owner, supertroll, I can, like many others, appreciate what you're going through. Been there.

While we don't know one another, I ran accross a poem some time ago which I thought you might find comfort in. I hope so. It is with the sincerest feelings I offer the following...

IF IT SHOULD BE

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep
Then you must do what must be done
For this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand
Don't let your grief then stay your hand
For this day, more than all the rest
Your love and friendship stand the test.
We've had so many happy years
What is to come can hold no fears
Would you want me to suffer? So
When the time comes, please let me go.

Take me where my needs they'll tend
Only stay with me until the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
It is a kindness that you do for me
Although my tail its last has waved
From pain and suffering I have been saved
Do not grieve it should be you
Who must decide this thing to do
We've been so close, we two these years
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

I'm a bit late in joining in the chorus of those who have expressed sorrow for you in your loss. Hats off also to all the TT'ers who took the time to reach out and put a hand on your shoulder.

Scooby Doo Where are You??
Skully, May you take comfort in the fact that all yout TT friends share your grief. Scooby may have passed but the memories for all of us still remain fresh and alive in our hearts.

skullcap, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you must feel. I've lost several very loved pets over the years. I know it's difficult and you never forget, but it does get easier after time. Remember the good times.
