“Does it strengthen your patriotism to question someone elses?

At once, I realize that my being born to parents living in America wasn't of my doing or motivation, so it kind of seems silly to be patriotic, but I know that this is my home and I wouldn't feel the same anywhere else.

And with all of America's bad traits (And there are a lot), I still love the people, the landscape, and the soul of this country.

People shouldn't judge others patriotism based on anything political. That should be the last thing it's based on. BM's wrong for saying this country sucks (For whatever reason, because that's too broad of a statement), and you shouldn't question BM's patriotism by his political views.

The nature does not remain true. Show me where Jefferson hated America. He dissented from over-government control, as did all the founding fathers. He did not dissent from America.

You seem to be confusing dissention with saying "America sucks". Dissention is when you disagree with a particular thing. To disagree with "America", by definition, is unpatriotic. Now, if BM would have said "New Jersey sucks" or "taxes suck" or "the Supreme Court sucks", that's different. That's not saying the country sucks.
