FYI, the photo page averages 35 hits per day over the last 450 days! People all over the world look at it. The foreign country with the most hits (after Canada) is Saudi Arabia, followed by Austrailia. Thursday noon is the peak time for hits. Google and Yahoo searches bring a lot of hits to the page.”

“I have been in the ADK before. My father-in-law lives in North Creek New York and I have spent a lot of time tramping around up there.. The Dacks are simply beautiful.. except for the black flies...

I do get lots of hits from TownDawg's and Mel's web sites. By far the biggest link is from thebackpacker.com page itself. Next are searches from Google and AltaVista.”

Elemental - I scoped out your photography. Very nice. If you look at some of the other TTer's pages you will find some more photographers...quite a few actually. Hobbit, Lizs, Dunk, Photoboy, and many more. There are some great pics.

One of these days it would be nice to put together just a "gallery" of some sort from among the images that have been submitted. My TT image folder has 2300+ files now, of which probably half are posted somewhere.”
