Does the truck still run? Is the drive shaft in working order and how about the frame, twisted or o.k.?

Depending on those quesitons, anywhere between $5k and $17k.

More importantly -- how much will your insurance premiums increase because of your 'accident'?

Body twisted is all..frame still ok...windshield and back window need replacing..as do 3 rims and 3 tires. It was still running while on it's side too! I'm Fine..and gordon...i'm expecting them to tell me not to send next months payment and that they'll call me, not to call them

Well, I will take a shot at this.. According to Yahoo! Autos: 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac , the Retail Price: $22,120 - $28,210.

Let make a guess that you TOTALED it, just for fun, then assuming that your insurance company did its usual thing and gave you about 75% recovery... I guess >> $18,874

The main thing is that you are ok. We can fix cars, but people is still beyond our current 'state of the art'.

TD..you got what i payed and the asking price perfect..wasn't totalled..but close..lets just say i'm getting a whole new left side. Damage might have only been 500-1000 something if it hadn't have done the SUV roll.

That really sucks about your truck. They're never the same after they've been wrecked, it might have been better if they had totalled it. I'm glad you came out of it all right, though.

well my 97 ford ranger got nailed 2 times real good around 5-7k$ each time...one was a deer..the other was a carnie (goatlegged carnival worker)..and it was fine and dandy if not better after each time. All new parts right about when the warranty goes out may help..lol
